Oh my gosh. I wish that everyone could stay here once, but save room for me. These people know how to make a perfect park. Everything is spotless! The rangers even go around and pick up pine cones in the mornings! Everything works and works perfect. I will ALWAYS stay here when we are in the area.
You are staying in a parking lot. There were lots of potholes but wi-fi and cable, water and everything else worked fine. We stayed here because we have learned our lesson and try to get someplace before 6pm. Ok for overnight and everyone was friendly. Would try someplace else next time
We were VERY PLEASED with our 2 night stay here. The staff could not have been nicer, the park was immaculate, and the exhibits at the park were wonderful. We were about 40 mins from Natchez so we dropped the trailer and went around the city that way and it made seeing sites lots easier. Pass by the junk sites at the casinos (unless you are just there to gamble), this park is a gem. Would definitely stay again, and will.
Happened to see the sign from I-10 and as it was 6:30pm and we were tired we gave it a shot. 5 sites left and a quick night check in and we got to a concrete level site where everything worked as advertised. Very little road noise. Only reason not a 10 was the park lights were a little bright but I would rather have that then feel unsafe. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. (Going to try the free breakfast now......)
Flagstaff is a tough town to get a room no matter where you stay. If you dont call by about 6pm, you will be out of luck for hotels or campsites. For this reason I think this campgrounds figures you can take it or leave it, because they will be full every night. The drive in, after dark, to our campsite, we were "escorted" by an employee in a golf cart. They drove thru the site, stopped and waited for us to negotiate our way between the table and another camper in the next site. There was about 3 inches clearance. When we stopped we were at a downhill angle banked to the right. Being the middle of the night in the dark we slept "off-kilter" and left the next day. If we can avoid Flagstaff in the future we will, otherwise the Walmart lot looks inviting.
Very nice park. Clean. Staff when we called for reservation and when we checked in were terrific. Only reason did not get a 10 was there was highway noise but not enough to ruin the stay, and hey you are in a trailer pretty much on the highway. Would stay here again.
Sure there were trains, but after being on the road for half a day, checking in, leaving the trailer and driving around to Stevenson Museum (right across the 1.00 toll bridge in Washington) when the trains came by at night they blew their whistle and were gone into the night. The staff was friendly and after we checked in left us alone! I thought it was a great park and quiet except for the occasional train. I would recommend that if you are going to see Multnomah Falls you either stop at the rest area on I-84 and walk the few hundred feet to the falls and visitors center or do as we did and drop the trailer and drive there in your tow vehicle or truck. The roads are hardly wide enough for two Honda civics side by side.
Very clean park, well kept up. Stayed a couple of nights. Pool was clean as was hot tub. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was very quiet at night, and stores were less than 10 miles down the road, big super markets, fast food everything in Newberg, Oregon.
All spots were concrete with a table in the grass outside your door. Small trees between each site will grow in a few years to make this park even better. Easy off the freeway, easy to find. WIFI worked without a flaw but if you are calling ahead to get a site after they are closed, asked they put the code on your bill. Water pressure and electric were very good. Quiet at night, but a little bit of morning noise as the residents got in cars to get to work, but really not enough to bother you. Would stay here again.
I cannot say enough good about this park. The owner was fantastic and would answer the phone til he went to bed (he says about 11). This is SO NICE! The park was quiet and VERY CLEAN. This was ATV heaven and I am pretty sure if we had not called ahead we might not have gotten a space. I would definitely stay here again and again.
Nice park, quiet. Staff was friendly. WIFI was $1.00 extra. Did not have a problem backing in with the trailer. I just left truck hooked up to trailer and had plenty of room.
